Climatise carbon accounting software
Climatise sells carbon accounting software built around file upload, with SECR and ESOS Phase 4 workflows for UK companies and the consultancies that serve them (climatise.com).
It names the three UK regimes this site covers most — SECR, ESOS and UK SRS — so each is set beside its words at the provision.
We have not tested Climatise and give it no rating.

Climatise’s home page opens with “Drop a file.
Calculate emissions.”
It describes importing PDF invoices, CSV spreadsheets and Excel files, extracting the data, and calculating Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions (climatise.com).
It says it auto-generates SECR, CSRD, ISSB and custom reports “with methodology notes, energy efficiency narratives, and full audit trails”.
It describes AI monitoring for anomalies and gaps, supplier questionnaires, reduction targets and a chat assistant over the data.
Separately, its ESOS page describes a Phase 4 workspace: qualification and group structure, areas of significant energy consumption, site audit reports, Lead Assessor sign-off, MESOS exports and the action plan that follows.
Its sample SECR screen shows Scope 1 and 2 emissions, Scope 3 marked voluntary, energy consumption and an intensity ratio per employee.
These are Climatise’s statements about its own product.

Climatise addresses four audiences on its home page: SMEs, mid-market companies, enterprises with many sites, and consultants.
For consultancies it offers a white-label platform, saying partners can run many client portfolios from one dashboard under their own brand (consultancies page).
Its ESOS material is written for both sides: the in-scope organisations that must comply and the energy consultancies and Lead Assessors who deliver Phase 4.
For an SME, the legal starting point matters: a small unquoted company is outside SECR, and outside ESOS unless it is part of a large group.
Whether SECR applies is tested on SECR thresholds, and the ESOS test sits beside the next section.
The fork between all the UK regimes is on carbon management software.

Climatise says it calculates a full Scope 1, 2 and 3 footprint, and its sample SECR report shows Scope 3 as voluntary.
An unquoted company follows SECR’s statutory gas, transport-fuel and purchased-electricity limbs (Sch 7 ¶20D); that is not a complete fifteen-category Scope 3 inventory, but the transport-fuel limb can include Scope 3 activities.
The sample’s intensity ratio is emissions per employee, which SECR allows: one emissions ratio against a quantifiable factor the company chooses.
Under UK SRS S2 the position changes: gross Scope 1, 2 and 3, location-based Scope 2, and all fifteen Scope 3 categories considered (¶29(a); ¶¶B30–B33), measured under the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard.
The Scope 3 Standard goes further still: no category is optional, and exclusions must be disclosed and justified.
For UK figures, ask which DESNZ conversion factor set and year is applied; the rules on Scope 3 are on Scope 3 under UK SRS.

Read the detailed guidance and evidence
Searches for ESOS compliance management software for UK enterprises reach this page, and Climatise sells exactly that.
The qualification test is in the Regulations: at least 250 employees, or turnover over £44 million and a balance sheet over £38 million, measured on 31 December 2026 (Schedule 1; reg 4).
Notification of compliance is due by 5 December 2027.
Two details are worth checking in any ESOS tool, Climatise included: energy must be split across four organisational purposes, not three — transport, industrial process, buildings and any other purpose — with an intensity ratio for each (reg 25C).
And SI 2026/701 added a third, final progress update after the action plan (reg 28), so Phase 4 carries updates in 2029, 2030 and 2031, where Climatise’s ESOS pages describe two.
The Environment Agency’s Phase 4 guidance sets the action plan deadline at 5 December 2028.
The check beside this text runs the qualification test and validates a reference period.

The table sets each UK regime Climatise names beside its words, and the request that tests one against the other.
The government’s SECR guidance and the ESOS overview are the government’s own accounts; where they and the Regulations differ, the Regulations govern.
UK SRS S1 and S2 were published by DBT on 25 February 2026 for voluntary use, and the FCA’s final rules (PS26/19) require listed companies in scope to report against them on a comply-or-explain basis for accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027.
Those rules finalise the FCA’s CP26/5 consultation and changed it: no part of UK SRS is mandatory under the final rules.
Suppliers bidding for large central government contracts may separately be asked for a Carbon Reduction Plan under PPN 006, or PPN 06/21 for procurements commenced before 24 February 2025.
The ESOS detail is on ESOS Phase 4 requirements and the UK SRS position on the UK SRS deadline.

Climatise says its reports carry full audit trails, that every ESOS figure traces back to its source, and that it assembles an ESOS evidence pack exportable as a single file.
ESOS gives that pack legal weight: the Regulations require records to be kept, and failing to maintain them is a civil penalty (SI 2014/1643).
There is no statutory penalty for a missed action plan or progress update, though the Scheme Administrator publishes the failure.
In the UK no company is required to obtain sustainability assurance; listed companies in scope of the FCA rules state whether they obtained it.
What assurance means for UK SRS is on UK SRS assurance.

Frequently asked
Questions people ask
What is Climatise?
Climatise describes itself as carbon accounting software built around file upload: drop in PDF invoices, CSV or Excel files, and it extracts the data, calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and generates SECR, CSRD, ISSB and custom reports with methodology notes and audit trails.
It also sells an ESOS Phase 4 workflow and a white-label version for consultancies.
Is Climatise ESOS compliance management software for UK enterprises?
Climatise sells an ESOS Phase 4 workflow covering qualification, areas of significant energy consumption, site audit reports, Lead Assessor sign-off, MESOS exports, and the action plan and progress updates.
Whether an enterprise is in ESOS at all is a separate question, answered by the qualification test on this page.
Who must comply with ESOS Phase 4?
A UK undertaking that, on 31 December 2026, employs at least 250 people, or has turnover over £44 million and a balance sheet over £38 million, together with UK group undertakings of such a business.
Notification of compliance is due by 5 December 2027.
How many ESOS progress updates are there in Phase 4?
Three.
SI 2026/701 regulation 28 added a third, final progress update to regulation 34B, so a Phase 4 action plan is followed by updates due in 2029, 2030 and 2031.
Some guidance, including the government’s overview page, still says two.
Does Climatise support UK SRS?
Climatise names UK SRS beside SECR and ESOS and generates ISSB reports.
UK SRS is voluntary for most UK entities; listed companies in scope of the FCA’s final rules report against it on a comply-or-explain basis for accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027.
How much does Climatise cost?
Climatise does not publish prices on the pages read.
Its consultancy page says partners pay a per-client fee that falls with volume, with no upfront platform fee, but gives no figures. This site records the price as Enterprise level · TBD.
Can consultancies use Climatise under their own brand?
Climatise says it is fully white-label for energy consultancies and ESOS Lead Assessors, who run engagements under their own brand and give clients read-only and sign-off access.
Has this site tested Climatise?
No. This page describes what Climatise publishes about itself and sets it beside what the rules require. It gives no rating.
